Sustainability
Since the reopening in 2010, the Danube Halls have been continuously evolving in the realm of sustainability, making a significant contribution to reducing carbon dioxide emissions.
With us, it's naturally warm during cold months.
The hall complex does not have its own heat generation system and is solely supplied with local heat.
Where do we source our electricity from?
The Donauhallen source 100% green electricity from renewable energies and, furthermore, will in the future use a portion of their electricity demand through an in-house photovoltaic system.
Energy-efficient air conditioning
During the summer months, a carbon-neutral chilled water circulation system ensures a comfortably temperate climate in the rooms and halls.
Charging station for your electric car?
Here you will find a charging station in the vicinity of the Donauhallen.
Climate protection is also a major concern for us!
Our Bartók Hall is illuminated with LED lights, leaving fluorescent tubes in the past. This energy-efficient measure was supported by the Federal Ministry for the Environment.
